e-Alert — COVID-19 – Principal Offers Relief During the COVID-19 Pandemic

By May 19, 2020No Comments

Background

Principal is committed to providing their members with accurate, reliable information about the latest access to health care services in response to COVID-19.

Summary

This pandemic has affected your day-to-day life including your routine trips to the dentist. Now more than ever, Principal understands that employers and their employees have limited resources to their use of dental plans. On May 7 Principal sent out a notice offering a premium credit of 10%, June through October 2020, for employers, based on their premium bill last month. The employer must have a fully insured dental plan to qualify.

Providers will be compensated $7 per member for in office visits for personal protective equipment (PPE), when employers and their employees go to any in-network dental provider, June through December 2020. For more information on the latest resources provided by Principal please visit their COVID-19 advisor website.
