The CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against flu viruses. UnitedHealthcare contracts with a variety of national pharmacy chains and retail Convenience Care clinics to provide members with easy access to flu shots:

  • Network doctors or clinics
  • Select retail pharmacies
  • Network Convenience Care Clinics
  • Contracted flu shot providers

Members should review their benefit plan to determine coverage for flu immunizations. UnitedHealthcare members may present their health plan ID cards to receive flu shots on a walk-in basis from many national flu shot providers.
